Monday, February 24 | 9:00-11:30 am in the Heideman Auditorium and Main Sanctuary WRJ/Sisterhood is sponsoring its annual Interfaith Coffee on February 24, from 9:00 until 11:30 am at The Temple. This event has been taking place for decades, and we invite many, many churches and mosques to attend by sending information to the individual houses of worship so that it can be disseminated to their members. We serve wonderful home baked or bought pastries, and then our rabbis present informative and entertaining programs. This year the theme is "Louisville’s Jewish Supreme Court Justices: A History of the Louisville Jewish Community through the Stories of Our Two Supreme Court Justices” Temple members are encouraged to attend and sit at tables with our guests to extend our warm hospitality to them. Our members are also encouraged to bake or buy breads, cookies, various sweets, and a few healthy things thrown in for good measure. Please bring your contributions to The Temple before February 21, and label them for Interfaith.
