In 2010, the late Archbishop Desmond Tutu was instrumental in helping Cape Town Interfaith Initiative to bring the Charter for Compassion in Cape Town, at a launch that celebrated our 10th anniversary. This year, we celebrate the life of the Archbishop in a recommitment to the Charter for Compassion, bringing together people of all faiths and none in a venue previously associated with Apartheid but now fully engaged in social justice including interfaith harmony.
