There is something magical that happens when people of diverse faiths join together, each praying in their own unique way but with common purpose, for the benefit of our City and all the life that is contained within her. We choose this year to visit the small community of Kalksteenfontein, offering our gifts of compassion, inclusion and goodwill to parts of our city that often feel excluded or sidelined due to economic and social challenges. The event is online and in person. All are welcome. Prayers for the City is held annually on the first Sunday in February in celebration of WIHW. The event was blessed to win the King Abdullah II prize in 2019.
