For the first time in Scotland's history Interfaith Scotland will be hosting an interfaith dialogue and engagement event with the prisoners of Barlinnie Prison.  Working closely with the staff team of Barlinnie we will bring into the prison representatives of diverse faith traditions and a Muslim survivor of the Bosnian genocide to explore together the root causes of hate and prejudice.  It is often hatred and misunderstanding of the 'other' that leads to hate-based crimes and this encounter will help those engaging to never again be 'prisoners of hate'.
