Your successful initiative is a great support for us and especially for Muslim partners who are cooperating with us in African and Asian countries. I hope that your example will encourage them to make more first and further steps towards interreligious cooperation in various fields of development work, also if their activities are not always appreciated by their communities.
Human development is a common mission we have and here we can try to live jointly our love of God and the call for the love of the neighbour.
In Munich the International Munich Security Conference will also take place every year in the first week of February. It will be a special pleasure to plan with religious communities some events to celebrate the World Interfaith Harmony Week during these days in Munich and to have by this providentially the chance to raise another issue which will provide sustainable security: Trust in God and trust in my neighbour.
