Bidding to host the 2014 Parliament of the World’s Religions in Dallas Fort Worth, Texas, we join to affirm harmony more than unity, convergence rather than consensus, facilitation more than organization, trust more than agreement. The mandate for interreligious acceptance and dialogue inspires us to respect and support one another – ”the thinness of our differences is offset by the thickness of our similarities.” May our universal faith principles of ”do unto others as you would have them do unto you” bring us to world peace and justice.
