BANGLADESH: Teachers and students at Dhaka University‘s department of World Religions and Culture marked a successful United Nations Inter-faith Harmony Week February 1-7 with poster displays and discussion meetings.

The posters included pictures and details on nine of the world’s main religions, while the meetings featured leaders and professionals from different religions in Bangladesh.

“To establish a peaceful society inter-faith harmony is very important. The posters helped everyone, especially students to know each other’s religion and promote harmony among them,” vice-chancellor Arefin Siddique said.
