Lecture-Discussion “Bible and Ecology: saving the Earth” was led by Rabbi Dukhovny, Chair of the All-Ukrainian Council of Religious Organizations, which is actively involved into the events of the WIHW. The participants of the discussion, which presented different streams of religion, surprisingly understood, that their religions are talking about the preservation of Earth, its inhabitants, trees, animals, etc., and are using the same language. The major discussion was about the issue, which is raised in Ps. 92 “Righteous are like a palm tree”. Why the righteous are compare to a tree? At the and of the discussion the participants decided to be involved into the planting trees, during  the Tree Day, on March 20.
