On Saturday, February 6th, the United Nations Association of Sacramento hosted its first ever World Interfaith Harmony Week Celebration!  We had 96 registrations and almost 70 people watching live at its peak!  At the core of all the faith systems and traditions is the recognition that we are all in this together and that we need to love and support one another to live in harmony and peace in an environmentally sustainable world.  Our goal was to create a program that offered the Greater Sacramento Community insights into beliefs and traditions of different faiths that are practiced in the area; thus, increasing understanding and appreciation.  UNA Sacramento partnered with the International World Peace Rose Gardens, Brahma Kumaris of Sacramento, Sisterhood of Salaam Shalom, California Green Academy, and the Interfaith Council of Greater Sacramento on this virtual celebration.  Musical performances were by music prodigy Neil Nayyar, and slide transition music by Maria Kostelas, "Flute Whisperer."  Thank you all for coming and watching!
