As #WorldInterfaithHarmonyWeek nears its end, ICLRS Director Brett Scharffs shares a message: "The poet Dylan Thomas prefaced his collected poems with a dedication, 'These poems, with all their crudites, doubts and confusions, are written for the love of man and in Praise of God, and I'd be a damn fool if they weren't.' With apologies for the salty language, what kind of world would we have if all of us approached our vocations with this attitude? I think of these motives often, especially as I labor on behalf of a world where the human dignity of all people in all places is respected by all of us."
