72-year old VC, from Mumbai, insists that he and his family don't formally practice any religion, but a pluralistic culture with reflections of faith find a place in his home. He says, "For us, religious objects are primarily mounted or displayed for their family and artistic value. In this image, the hanging lamp is a family tradition. The brass objects on the wall are traditional, wrought in brass. The paintings and drawings are gifts from talented artists. The small statue is part of a long tradition of iconic figures found in many parts of the world. We do not practice any religious rituals at home, other than respectful celebration of the lives of our loved ones who have left us."
