In celebrating World Interfaith Harmony Week for the first time in 2021, Whittlesea Interfaith Network will be hosting the Women of Faith - Footsteps to Whittlesea event.  This event will be run virtually via ZOOM in line with current COVID restrictions in Melbourne/Australia, although this may change closer to the date. The event will showcase a series of stories shared by prominent women from various faith communities who live or work locally in the Whittlesea region.  The stories will be captured in interviews recorded virtually and uploaded to Whittelesea Interfaith Network social media platforms.  With COVID19 we realised very quickly that we need to strengthen our virtual presence for faith based communities to continue collaboration.  Through this event we will also be launching our first official website, YouTube channel and other social media platforms that will be regularly updated with content.  We're thrilled with the opportunity to be launching this exciting chapter in interfaith dialogue in this region on such an important day as World Interfaith Harmony Week.  We look forward to an ambitious year ahead where we continue to build community and harmony amongst faith groups towards greater social cohesion.
