Women Encounter is an event for women of different nationalities, culture and religion that takes place every last Saturday every month. The Women's Committee has decided to plan two women activities in the month of January and February that should relate to the UN World Interfaith Harmony Week, to The first women's event is planned to take place on January 28 at 1-5 pm, focusing on Women in Diversity and delving into what values and common stories and experiences that bind us together as part of humanity in our one world. And this is followed by another Women's Event on February 25, which is taking up the subject on Women's Human Rights with invited speakers of women, originally from Iran, Afghanistan and Syria who have now settled in Denmark. Women Encounter, together with other submitted events we have this year, is prepared and coordinated by Cross-cultural Ministry of Kolding Deanery, which comprises of 31 local churches in town and with the Migrant Cooperation and Meeting with Other Religions Ministry of Haderslev Diocese.
