World interfaith harmony week is an annual event celebrated during the first week of February. It seeks to spread the message of peace and tolerance among the followers of different religions i.e. Christianity, Muslim and Judaism. In this event we shall invite people from different religious backgrounds to pave way towards attaining sustainable peace which seem to have been lost in Bugiri district due to the rampant violent extremism in the district.Among the people who will participate include; -Muslim leaders, Pastors, priests, political leaders and Youth at risk mostly those who stay at Obama Street in Bugiri municipal council. And among the Activities to be done include the following; Cleaning of worshiping places like churches and mosques, and Interfaith panel discussion.
