From Phoebe Milliken, Faculty Associate in International Peacebuilding: "Interfaith harmony looks like people drawing on their faith tradition to give strength to someone in need, no matter that person’s faith tradition. Two years ago I had to cancel an event with my students because I was rushing to the hospital where my father was having emergency surgery. Within minutes I had messages from all my students saying they were praying for my father. These prayers arose from three different religious traditions and probably five different languages. It didn’t matter that I am not a person of faith, I was still bolstered by this outpouring of care for me and my father."
