In celebration of World Interfaith Harmony Week (A/RES/65/5), the Permanent Mission of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the United Nations and the Permanent Mission of Spain to the United Nations in partnership with the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) and the United Nations Office of Counter Terrorism (UNOCT) are pleased to invite you to a high-level panel discussion on “Promoting Interfaith Pluralism and Understanding for Prevention”. The event will provide an opportunity for UN Member States, UN entities and the international community to celebrate the three commandments that are at the heart of every belief - the love of God, love of one’s neighbor, and love of goodwill. Special focus will be placed on the role of inter religious dialogue in promoting mutual understanding and peaceful coexistence.
