Meditative Walks towards mutual recognition, respect and support between the world’s main religions and spiritual cultures at Evera, Trentham Victoria Australia 2022

A walk on parkland bordering on the Wombat Forest, along 12 sites dedicated to the 12 main religious and spiritual world-views, their teachings and observances, as well as a related conversation. This year’s theme:

the relevance of embodied experience through word, sound and gesture for religious and spiritual life.

World Interfaith Harmony Week dates: 30 January; 2-4 and 6 February. Due to fire danger season and possible Covid restrictions, appointments are needed for the walks to go ahead. . A typical program: a cuppa on arrival, introduction, walk, lunch, conversation and a cuppa before departure. Drinks and biscuits available; please bring something for lunch to share.
