Interfaith Harmony: Sharing Our Culture & History   Celebrate culture and history through two documentaries followed by group discussions. Lunch to be served featuring Caribbean and Jewish foods. Legacy Voices
  • Halton Region has a rich history of Blacks in the community that should not be forgotten. The Canadian Caribbean Association of Halton presents “Legacy Voices,” a documentary that follows five Black immigrants to Halton Region at a time when they were the only Black families in their communities. It is their story of legacy for generations to come.
  • This Falling Motion production was an official selection for four film festivals: Hamilton Film Festival – Canadian Market 2020; Canadian Diversity Film Festival 2020; Quinte Canadian Filmfest 2020; and Film for Peace 2020.
Periphery
  • Periphery is an evocative photographic and film project with accompanying digital curricular material that celebrates ethnic diversity in the Jewish community. Sharing narratives from individuals of multiracial and multiethnic backgrounds, Periphery creates space to look, listen, and learn from participants as they share their experiences and explore ideas of representation, intersectionality, ethnicity, race, and sexuality. Periphery also draws our attention inwards and invites us to examine how we foster and support a broader and richer view of the Jewish community.
