As the world grapples with the triple planetary crisis, social injustices and economic downturns, it is now more evident than ever that these challenges act as mutual “threat multipliers” that are contributing to the heightened fragility of our social fabric, natural balance and economic stability, deepening pre-existing inequalities and creating environmental injustice. Therefore, we need to adopt the values-based approach propagated by our religions and spiritual beliefs that tells us to be in harmony with nature and take care of our Mother Earth. In this way, an interfaith approach towards achieving environmental justice will ensure that the process of rebuilding better addresses these intersectional challenges from a multidimensional lens to create a just, equitable and peaceful world for the environment, society and economy to coexist in harmony. This webinar will bring together expert panelists from different faiths to discuss how best we can work together to achieve interfaith harmony and environmental justice.
