To participate in the cause of harmony and support the World Interfaith Harmony Week observed by UN, India based Blossom Media Pvt. Ltd. has curated an event titled ‘Humanity First Conclave’ to be held in Mumbai on 3rd February 2019. The motto of Blossom Media through this conclave is to bring people of different religion and faith together and have an open discuss and sharing of ideas to take the message of harmony, tolerance and interfaith understanding on a larger scale. This may contribute to a peaceful and fruitful cohabitation for the common benefit of all people in India.
The Event is divided into three parts starting from 2nd January 2019 and will end on 3rd February 2019.
1) Social Harmony Message Competition (2nd January to 17 January 2019)
In order to take the idea of harmony on larger scale and encourage citizens to participate in this event, Blossom Media will run a campaign through social media for general masses aged 22 to 45 years and will also involve students of schools and colleges to participate in this competition. This Harmony message competition campaign will run for 15 days on social media and finally 5 best messages from the submission will be selected to be showcased during the event on 3rd February and their makers will be awarded with appreciation momento and certificates.
2) Mumbai Heroes Award (15th January to 30th January 2019)
Advertisement and press release asking the nomination of individual from various faiths who have served the society without discrimination. The selected 50 names will be awarded the title ‘Mumbai Heroes’. This award will motivate the winners to keep the good work going and will encourage others to follow suit. The award ceremony will be hosted on 3rd February 2019.
3) Humanity First Conclave (3rd February 2019)
The theme of the conclave will be Love God, love Neighbours translated as “Mazhab Nahi sikhata apas main bair rakhna”. In this conclave religious scholars representing Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, Buddhism and others will be invited to speak on the topic ‘Serving humanity the spirit of religion’ followed by an open question and answer session. The representative of Government of India, Businessmen and Social workers representing various faiths will be invited.
The event will end with a note to take the message of interfaith harmony forward.
