NCCJ’s Interfaith Tour promotes understanding and respect among all cultures, races and religions. For more than 20 years, we’ve been bringing together people of all ages and faiths for an afternoon of fellowship. On the tour, we’ll visit three houses of worship across our community offering a unique opportunity to hear from diverse faith leaders. Participants will develop a stronger knowledge of and appreciation of different practices and beliefs. The event is free but you must register in advance. We’ll spend the first part of the afternoon learning from faith leaders at three different houses of worship in Greensboro. This year, we’re visiting Temple Emanuel, Providence Baptist Church, and the Islamic Center of Greensboro. We’ll end our day with a Human Library and a reception. There, you’ll have the opportunity to get to know more of our neighbors who practice a variety of different faith traditions. Together, we’ll build a more inclusive community.
