NgoPeace is an abbreviation of two words: Ngopi and Peace. Culturally, Ngopi is an activity of drinking coffee while having conversations or discussions about something in a casual atmosphere. Held by Young Interfaith Peacemaker Community (YIPC) Malang in collaboration with Gazebo Literasi, NgoPeace provides opportunity for participants to have discussions about the issues surrounding peace and conflict in a more casual atmosphere accompanied by drinking coffee to loosen up. Discussions will be led by two speakers and focused on current issues of religion freedom in Indonesia, especially the incidents throughout late 2018 and in the early 2019 which indicate the rise of limitations to freedom of religion and potentially will cause disturbances to interfaith harmony in Indonesia. Sociology perspective will be used to discuss how Indonesian view freedom of religion, the incident, and possible effort which can be done by people to respond the incident and protect freedom of religion in Indonesia. Law perspective will be used to discuss Indonesian government's role and what should be done to protect freedom of religion through laws and regulations. Speakers : - Dr. Pradana Boy ZTF, S.Ag., MA. (Assistant of Special Staff to the President of Republic of Indonesia in International Religion Affairs) - Hendra Sulistiyono, M.Th. (Facilitator of YIPC, Peace Activist)
