American Diversity Report New Beginnings Proclamation

Extending the World Interfaith Harmony Week to a month, our project included a World Interfaith & Harmony Month  Proclamation signed by former Tuskegee Mayor Johnny Ford, founder of the World Conference of Mayors, and Dyann Robinson of Historic Black Towns & Settlements Alliance signed this Proclamation along with fourteen cities in Alabama, Florida, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Maryland. In addition, the Proclamation was signed by Prof. Nathan Kahara, former Mayor of Nairobi and President of the Former Mayors International Assoc. As part of our initiative to extend even further into a 5-year initiative, we created an online presence for ADR New Beginnings 2020: We also formed a ADR New Beginnings team of civic leaders and interfaith advisors that spanned the USA, India, and Africa: In addition, we published an article explaining the background of our efforts:  A NEW BEGINNING BEGINS IN 2020 – BY HOWARD GERALD COMEN At this point we began to initiate programs in communities in Kenya, Uganda, and Cameroon which will be documented in separate reports.
