Join us during World Interfaith Harmony Week 2025 for a webinar focused on the theme of interfaith collaboration. This event will provide an opportunity to hear from speakers representing diverse perspectives who are actively involved in fostering understanding and cooperation across different faiths and non-faith traditions.   This session will:
  • Feature talks from speakers sharing their experiences of interfaith collaboration.
  • Explore simple ways to work together across faiths and non-faiths.
  • Introduce the PeaceBuildres Network with a guidance on how to register and get involved.
Speakers: Alavari Jeevathol (AJ): AJ is the national coordinator of Young Humanists UK and serves as a director and trustee of Humanists International. He is also a founding trustee of the National Multifaith Youth Centre in the UK. AJ collaborated with Religions for Peace UK on the humanitarian youth video project and frequently participates in RfPUK initiatives, including refugee trips and environmental projects. His work focuses on fostering dialogue between faith and belief groups, supporting non-religious asylum seekers and refugees, and addressing ecological sustainability for future generations. Greshma P Raju: Greshma is a climate and peace educator with years of experience in interfaith dialogue and environmental peacebuilding. She is the founder of the EcoPeace Teen Café, an online program for teenagers focusing on environmental protection and social justice. In 2023, she collaborated with Religions for Peace UK to run the UKIYN EcoPeace Café, creating a platform for young people to engage in discussions on sustainability, community care, and interfaith understanding. Greshma also serves as a Global Council Trustee for the United Religions Initiative and is a Youth Council Member at the UNEP-Faith for Earth Initiative. Ralph Boer: Ralph has led Hillsong Church's Refugee Response and Social Impact Partnerships in London for nearly a decade, championing initiatives that support refugees and asylum seekers. Since 2020, he has launched projects like English classes, practical support services, and a Community Café. In 2022, Ralph collaborated with Religions for Peace UK through the UK Interfaith Network, utilising the Religions for Peace International Humanitarian Fund to foster multicultural and interfaith understanding among refugees. Under Ralph’s leadership, the Refugee Integration Programme has flourished, empowering newcomers and expanding partnerships with the RfP Interfaith Youth Network to help refugees build meaningful, fulfilled lives in the UK. The event is designed to bring together individuals and organisations interested in promoting peace and understanding through collaboration. Whether you are part of a faith group, a community organisation, or simply curious, this session offers a chance to connect and learn from others in a relaxed and accessible format.
