Music is a great unifier and choirs provide a space for the blending of diverse voices, beyond difference, beyond beliefs, beyond conflict. Within the choral space lies a model for reweaving wholeness in our broken world. Our choirs will demonstrate the reweaving of wholeness through harmony, collaboration and a shared love for the unifying magic of music. Our headline choir, The Rosa Choir, was chosen for its diversity and its joyful heartbeat. The Rosa Choir is a project of the Cape Cultural Collective. It is a multicultural, multifaith, multilingual and intergenerational choir, based on much more than just singing. Its values of friendship, respect, tolerance and understanding are the cornerstones of the essence we hope to bring to our concert.
