An afternoon of prayers and chants From 14 different traditions on Long Island, New York. All joining together for one goal, FOR PEACE AND UNITY ON EARTH. Event's mission: To be proactive for peace and unity within all our communities of faith. We bring our most sacred and  vulnerable self to stand in our joy  in spite of  tragedy to awaken us to our humanity. 

The following is helpful information to make your experience at this event a blessed one:

 Ø  We will begin with opening prayers and chant straight through from 11:30 AM until 1:51 PM followed by all singing Let There Be Peace on Earth, 5 minutes of silence and a closing prayer.

Ø  A bell will sound between each chant to denote next group

Ø  Please keep your intention and mind focused on peace throughout the event.

Ø  You are encouraged to join in with the main group chanting

Ø  You may take a break at any time.

Ø  Feel free to move around at any time. Some of the chants encourage dance and drumming. Please play, dance and sing along

Ø  Refreshments are available downstairs

Ø  Please do NOT speak in ‘sanctuary’ and keep conversations at a low volume downstairs

Ø Gathering of Light musicians will assist many groups. Please sing along

 Meet someone new and share a prayer There are donation boxes by the exits to support peace and Humanitarian efforts. Thank you!    Refreshments provided by several participating groups
