World Interfaith Harmony Week “The Way of Service - Engaging with the World” Join Imam Jamal Rahman, and the congregation of Interfaith Community Sanctuary as we share about charitable activities we are engaged in.   We honor Love of God and Love of the Neighbor with Love of Good and Love of the Neighbor in these ways: a medical clinic in rural Bangladesh for the care of women and children; fresh water, hygiene, education and micro businesses for Ethiopian villagers; Peace education for children and youth within the US, Uganda, and India.   Suraiya Ataur Medical Center (SAMC) is a community clinic primarily for women and children in Chondipur, Bangladesh. https://www.facebook.com/SAMCBangladesh/ www.instagram.com/samcbangladesh/? https://www.samcbangladesh.org/   Project Ethiopia empowers villagers to implement and sustain improvements in health, education and local economic activity. https://www.project-ethiopia.org/   Peace Camp International, a non-denominational, community day camp experience for children and youth committed to building strong and positive relationships through art, recreation, sport, dance, games, field trips, drama, story-telling, music, discovering our talents, gratitude and sharing circles. We work in partnership with Maher Ashram, India https://maherashram.org/, Uganda Martyrs Orphans’ Project, Africa http://interfaithcommunitysanctuary.org/index.php/partnerships/united-village/ , and Interfaith Community Sanctuary http://interfaithcommunitysanctuary.org/index.php/partnerships/peacecamp/.
