We at Nile Dialogue platform ,have joined people of good will to celebrate this week that send a message of love and tolerance which we started celebrating from last year when we assembled religious leaders. We will be joined by journalist, religious leaders, academicians and civil society members to celebrate it with activities ranging from dinners, round table discussions, both radio and TV programs.

Poster painting competition

Poster painting competition will be held in City college of Technology Shorkot road Pir Mahal. More than fifty(50)student will participate in this event.Muslim and Christian Student Will draw Holly Places image of different Faithes and environment. Each student will be awarded by certificates and first three position holders will be given special prizes. This event will develop mutual understanding of different Religons.

THE COMING INTERSPIRITUAL AGE

Based on the currently bestselling book THE COMING INTERSPIRITUAL AGE by Kurt Johnson and David Robert Ord (Namaste Publishing), recently announced by the Parliament of the World's Religions and celebrating World Interfaith Harmony Week, St. Bartholomew's Church (historical "St. Bart's") will present a FORUM on The Coming Interspiritual Age, Sunday, February 10th, 10 AM, at St. Bart's in the Great Hall, Auditorium, 325 Park Avenue, New York, NY featuring Dr. Kurt Johnson. Youth Interfaith Camp, Friendship, Teamwork and Volunteerism

is a three days event conducted by Bina Antarbudaya Yogyakarta City Chapter, Indonesia. An organization with a vision to nurture future leaders for the better world through sending students aboard in many exchange programs as well as hosting students from other country. With the grant the organization received from American Council we attempt to share life experiences of an exchange student without having to go abroad by inviting 28 youth age from three different countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, US) 16-24 with 9 different religion and belief which are Islam, Christian Protestant, Roman Catholic, Seventh Day Adventist Church, Buddhism, Hinduism, Traditional Belief Sapta Dharma, Agnosticism and Atheism. These youth are representing 15 different organization from mosque and church youth group to Buddhist student organization including two participant representing Students with disability. This camp consist of three different main activity to reach its goal which is to create interfaith Friendship agent throughout the world by giving them basic concept of Interfaith relation (1st day, lecture from Dian Interfidei, and Center for Religious and Cross Cultural Studies of Gadjah Mada University). The second day is a set of training in interfaith communication, eradication of prejudice and stereotype, and art project. The third day is a community service activity where the participant plant 300 trees together and donating 300 books to an orphanage. This camp concentrate on the very basic and the very core of any youth interaction which are the ability to communicate, tolerance, and eradication of prejudice and over generalization. We are giving them the exact skill set to face religious and belief different in the world. How to give and receive opinion. That is why we arranged this group of participant to be as diverse as possible to give them experience of interacting with friends with different belief and religion, including friends with disability. our hope is that these hopeful young people will be the front runner in friendship establishment among cross religion, belief, and physical ability. To stand up against prejudice, stereotype, and the violation of people with disability's right. These group of young people are very eager to become the friendship agent in their community. They create many great ideas for project to promote the spirit of inter religious and inter-physical ability condition friendship in their community.

3rd Annual World Interfaith Harmony Week Breakfast Presented by Scarritt-Bennett Center at Scarritt-Bennett Center February 6, 2013 In response to the United Nations designating the first week of February as World Interfaith Harmony Week, Scarritt-Bennett is pleased to offer this breakfast celebration. This year, our focus will be on food justice & sustainability. The featured speaker will be Megan Morton, executive director of Community Food Advocates.
