A week ago we had 6 new wonderful folks participate in our "Introduction to Shamanism" retreat. This now automatically has them be entered as members into our monthly journey circle event. Fear not if you were unable to make it to the retreat. ANYONE is welcome to join us to check out this monthly event one time as a guest. This is a FREE event. We just ask that you bring some type of food or drink to share for the potluck supper that lasts from 6-7pm. We engage in shamanic journeywork from 7pm-9pm. If you don't know what that is, that's okay. Come check it out anyway. This is NOT a teaching circle, though long-time members or those that have been through our or other Shamanic Journeywork training will share their stories with you over supper and during journeywork time, you get to check it out & see if it is a technology/vibe you want to become more engaged in. Bring yourself in comfy clothes, a pillow/blanket & a journal/pen. The pool heater WILL be working, so bring bathing clothes & a towel to bathe in our indoor, in-ground, saltwater healing pool after the event.

The event on 18 February 2012 will be marked by a Multi-religious dedication and an interfaith commentary entitled ‘With One Voice’. 'With One Voice', is a powerful collection of interviews with religious mystics of many traditions including Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, Christianity, and Taoism. Although the interviewees are drawn from a great diversity of backgrounds, all of them express an identical sentiment that 'we are one' and that the different religious paths are not in conflict but rather they reflect the nature of the universe as a unity in diversity. Running through this sublime production are such holistic themes as mysticism, peace, truth, love, unity and spirituality. we invite the panellists to select one or two of these themes each to comment on. We are proposing six topics: 1. Finding the common ground in all religions through mystical experiences; 2. Can love overcome religious intolerance and warfare? 3 - Developing a way of peace to end conflicts and agression; 4. Focusing on unity instead of separateness in our relationships with others; 5. Why there are many paths to truth? 6. Improving your daily life with spirituality.
