On Sunday, January 20, at 10:30 a.m., David Oughton will speak about the “Parliaments of the World’s Religions” at the Vedanta Society, 205 South Skinker Boulevard, 63105. This most recent Parliament of the World’s Religions was held in November 2018 in Toronto with the theme “The Promise of Inclusion, the Power of Love: Pursuing Global Understanding, Reconciliation, and Change.” Dave will share stories, photographs and the messages that were communicated during this important and timely event wherein over 10,000 people from over 80 countries gathered to explore common ground and learn from one another. Dave has attended all 7 of the modern Parliaments and brings a wealth of deep knowledge about this movement as well as humor and a lightness to his storytelling.
