This year, Carmen Balhestero is promoting live sessions on social media to enhance the communication between people from different religions, interviewing them in order to open minds and release intolerance and raise comprehension and respect.
Carmen is responsible for PAX - an ecumenical spiritual center - "Fraternidade PAX Universal" (Universal Peace Brotherhood) and leads with volunteers several inter-religious activities, including prayers, meditations, international events and immersive trips focused on getting to know other cultures and faiths.
She's been honoring this idea since 1981 in Brazil and, now, during the pandemic, has been promoting a live self-care routine of meditations and prayers for Peace between people, the planet and healing every day since 2020.
Our idea is to easily bring people together on Instagram, Facebook and Youtube to watch inter-religious people from different faiths together and have them understand a little more of each one, answering questions and promoting these videos to more and more people.
We're having two live sessions a day - at 3pm and 5pm Brazil Time in all of our social media. At 3pm, Carmen will use her voice to promote equality, praying and meditating. At 5pm, she'll interview her guests and talk to people on the live comments answering questions.
