Martin Luther King, Jr. said: “True peace is not merely the absence of tension; it is the presence of justice.” Through a keynote presentation and interfaith panelists, we will explore what justice is as defined by our various faith backgrounds. We hope to answer such questions as: What does justice look like? What does justice require of “me”? How is justice lived out as an expression of faith in little and big ways? How do we walk together lifting up justice for one another and for our world? In considering these questions, we hope to initiate robust and community-building conversations at tables, leading to renewed hope and zeal for pursuing justice in our community and in our society.
