Canterbury School parents are invited to an open house hosted by the Haven Interfaith Parents (HIP) to learn about the multi-faith efforts occurring at Canterbury School. The open house will be Tuesday, February 7th from 7-9 pm in the Haven (located in the Middle School). The questions which will be discussed are on the HIP page.

The special service called SatyaNarayana Puja wherein devotees participate will be led by priest AR Krishnan. This is a typical prayer service that can take place in homes or temples and as part of any life situations such as birth, marriage, purchase of a home, graduation, birthdays, anniversaries etc.

Utah Interfaith Power and Light (www.utahipl.org) invites you to attend a presentation and tour of the LDS Farmington Chapel built according to LEED standards. This building and tour will show all in attendance how to build churches in harmony with the Earth, God’s greatest creation. Mr. Jared Doxey from the LDS Church Architecture Department will host the tour and review the success of the energy savings over the past year, followed by a Q&A.

Civility and Community Outreach Training for Faith Leaders and Their Faith Communities

Church leaders and faith community members are invited to participate in a conversation on practicing the civic expression of the Golden Rule.
There will be a short introduction on the principles of civility and then small group conversations addressing the topic of how churches and faith communities can reach out to their surrounding neighborhoods and invite a collaborative effort with neighbors to create a more vibrant community of understanding, respect, and welcoming.
Anyone interested in attending is welcome. Light refreshments will be served
