World Interfaith Harmony week Starts Today to Promote a Culture Peace and Nonviolence.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has urged the Religious Scholars, Community Leaders and Citizens to play Role in Promoting Brotherhood as Extremism and divisive Rhetoric are Threat to Social Peace and Harmony.
World Interfaith Harmony Week is an annual event being observed Since 2010 and it is Celebrated every Year during the first Week of February.
In his Message on World Interfaith Harmony Week, the Prime Minister said this Week Serves as a Powerful Reminder of the Importance of dialogue, Understanding, and Cooperation among Diverse religious communities.
He said Pakistan, Envisioned by our founding father Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah as a Sanctuary for all faiths, Remains steadfast in its constitutional oath to Protect every Citizen’s right to Belief, Dignity, and Equality.
The Prime Minister said the Government is committed to fostering an environment of acceptance, tolerance, and mutual respect.
