The WMSU Peace and Human Security Institute as a GCED Regional Hub gathered Senior High School and College students for a transformative film viewing on Global Citizenship Education in celebration of the World Interfaith Harmony Week.

The objective was to immerse these young minds in the concept of global citizenship, emphasizing how local issues intricately intertwine with global affairs — showcasing the interconnectedness of our world.

They were introduced to the inspiring stories of Malala Yousafzai and Kailash Satyarthi, both Nobel Peace Prize recipients.
