Yesterday marked the beginning of World Interfaith Harmony Week, encouraging all people of goodwill - with or without religion - to come together, build dialogue, and enhance their work through co-operation and acknowledgment. An annual United Nations observance, the event has its foundations in The Common Word initiative, which saw Muslim and Christian leaders connect through their shared Commandments; Love of God, and Love of the Neighbour.
