Check out the highlights from the Global Peace Leadership Conference Africa 2024. The Global Peace Foundation organized the conference in Nairobi, Kenya, and focused on the importance of an African Renaissance.

On June 25, just before the opening sessions, protests erupted in Nairobi over proposed tax increases. In response, the opening ceremonies were replaced with a prayer vigil, after which the conference proceeded with programs exploring innovative approaches to foster peace, development, and cooperation across the continent.
