Time for another Parents Day Out with Unity of Wichita! We had such a blast in December, and are excited to host your special young ones again! This month's theme, we are focusing on "World Interfaith Harmony Week", celebrated the first week in February internationally. Heartbeat of Interfaith Harmony is an opportunity for young people to create a drum from recycled materials. This drum will be their passto visit stations of interest to learn how different faith traditions incorporate the drum. From the Native American tradition of the Mother’s heartbeat, to the rhythm of the breath in Buddhist meditation. This is a pass to explore, learn, and perhaps develop some new skills of stress management, prayer, meditation and connection with members of our unique and diverse community!
