More than 15 women from the local community actively participated in the event, contributing their energy and creativity to craft a mosaic artwork that reflects the key messages of peace, tolerance, and solidarity promoted during WIHW.The artwork will serve as a lasting symbol of the collective commitment to unity across religious and cultural lines. In her remarks, Dr. Haddadin expressed pride in the participation of local women, recognizing their role as catalysts for positive change within their communities. She stated, “We are proud to have women from the local community involved in this project, as they represent a driving force for change in their societies. We hope that this artwork will stand as a symbol of brotherhood and peaceful coexistence, representing all components of society. This artistic endeavor reflects our commitment to fostering dialogue, tolerance, and shared citizenship among diverse religious groups. We firmly believe that art is a universal language, capable of transcending linguistic and cultural barriers, and conveying messages of peace and love to the hearts of people everywhere.” The event was not only a creative exploration of interfaith cooperation but also a meaningful reflection of the power of community, collaboration, and artistic expression in advancing peace. By engaging participants in both intellectual discussions and hands-on artistic creation, Equality CC and URI MENA demonstrated how collective action—rooted in shared values—can shape a more peaceful, just, and understanding world.
