As the culminating event of the Common Ground: The Interfaith Religious Education Project, The Wall of Harmony transforms the Neerja Modi School Library into a vibrant, living testament to interfaith understanding. Instead of traditional art or objects, this interactive installation will be created using books from diverse religious traditions—turning literature itself into a symbol of unity, knowledge, and coexistence. Participants will engage in thoughtful reflection, selecting books that represent different faiths, philosophies, and spiritual teachings. Each book will be accompanied by handwritten notes from students and educators, highlighting key messages of peace, empathy, and shared values across religions. What Will Be Covered:
  • Interfaith Reflection Circle: A brief session where participants share personal takeaways from the Common Ground project.
  • Building the Wall of Harmony: Educators will collaboratively arrange books on various faiths to form a visually striking display. Each book will carry a reflection card—a single word or short message that represents the participant’s understanding of interfaith harmony.
  • Ongoing Impact: The Wall will remain a permanent feature in the library, serving as both an educational resource and a visual reminder of the power of religious literacy and dialogue.
