Today, as World Interfaith Harmony Week comes to a close, United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) hosted the 10th Geneva Interfaith Dialogue, focusing on the theme "The Role of Interfaith Dialogue in Strengthening Cultural Diplomacy." This event was organised in collaboration with the Permanent Mission of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the UN Office in Geneva.
➡️ The Head of the CIFAL Global Network, Mr Alex Mejía, was responsible for delivering the welcome remarks and introducing a diverse panel of Ambassadors and high-level representatives from the world’s major faiths, as well as the broader International Geneva community.
💬 Held annually at the United Nations Office in Geneva (UNOG), this gathering fosters discussions on the intersections of faith, politics, and society. Ultimately, the Dialogue serves as a dynamic platform to raise public awareness and enhance global capacity to translate these values into actionable initiatives.
