We are thrilled to invite you to our Black History Month Interfaith Cookbook Club from 7-9PM on Friday, February 28th. February is Black History Month, a time to honor the achievements and contributions of Black individuals to our world. This event will focus on exploring the rich culinary traditions of Black culture through an interfaith lens. Together, we’ll enjoy delicious food, meaningful conversations, and stories that connect faith, history, and community. In addition to sharing food, we invite participants to highlight the stories and words of Black faith leaders who have inspired them. Whether through a quote, a brief story, or a reflection, this will be an opportunity to celebrate their contributions to justice, spirituality, and community building. After You RSVP: We will send you a link to our curated list of recipes inspired by African American, African, and Afro-Caribbean cuisine. Please click on the link, review the recipes, and sign up by adding your name next to the dish you’d like to cook (or buy) and bring to the event. This is a capped event of 20 people, so sign up early to reserve your spot by February 18th! What to Bring:
  • A quote or story about a Black faith leader you admire to share with the group
  • The dish you choose from our recipe list (enough to share with people).
  • Bring drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) if you’re unable to bring a dish.
  • If you’re unable to bring a dish or beverage, you’re still more than welcome to join us and participate in the celebration!
Important Notes: Parking and space are limited, so please plan accordingly. Alcohol is welcome at this event. We will provide a few options, but feel free to bring your own. We look forward to hosting you and sharing this special celebration of Black history, culture, and interfaith connection
