In hosting our prayer breakfast, Macau Interfaith Network members wish to highlight the similarities of many faiths that revere an inspirational and loving creator. They anticipate that, in coming together, community members will see the best in one another, support each other’s efforts to help those in need and set an example of love and acceptance for all. Faith leaders hope that everyone’s time and resources will be dedicated to bringing people of faith together with respect and dignity. Such efforts will help to quell the storms of hatred and violence many of our nations face today. As Gandhi said, “I suppose leadership at one time meant muscles; but today it means getting along with people.” The event will begin with prayers offered by faith leaders, sponsored by the Sovereign Military Order of the Celtic Cross -SMOCC, SOFITEL Macau and with a number of visiting participants hotel and travel costs, flight and ferry transfers from HK Airport to be sponsored by Mr Wally Jia of Xian chapter of the SMOCC.
