Through connecting, enabling and helping people to support each other, these networks enable deep transformation, weaving through the complex environments that social movements seek to change. This training session focuses on how to build and manage peer-led networks without adopting a command and control mentality. This top-down mindset prevents networks from thriving. We’ll show you the tools, techniques and behaviours you need to allow other people to lead and flourish. This is the key to growing and sustaining a thriving network. During this session, we will walk you through The Network Building Canvas, which is designed to help you understand, test and experiment with your network. Who is in the network? How do people find it? How do you shift from command and control to a genuine peer-led network that powers itself and others?
