World Interfaith Harmony Week first prize winners describe the impact of winning the HM King Abdullah II prize. The aim of the discussion is to amplify the message of interfaith harmony and provide a platform to show how the work has impacted people all over the world. At this time of pandemic, sharing our experiences, challenges, triumphs and insights is more important than ever before. Those of us blessed with a voice and a platform must work even harder to encourage and support one another, and bring hope and inspiration to those working tirelessly in grassroots situations to unite diverse people with common purpose and enable the harmony of interfaith - with everyone singing their own song, but together it is even more powerful. This event is in the format of a webinar, and for the first time gathers previous prize winners to use the blessing of their prestigious win to promote the very real benefits of interfaith harmony in 8 different places on Earth: Nigeria 2013, Philippines 2014, Pakistan 2015, Gambia, 2016, Canada 2017, Australia 2018, South Africa 2019 and Jordan 2020.  We are honoured that the opening address will be delivered by the Chairperson of the Parliament of the World's Religions, Mr Nitin Ajmera, and the closing remarks will be delivered by the Regional Coordinator for United Religions Initiative Southern Africa, Ms Nyasha Mukaratirwa.  The willingness of people from all over the world to participate, even though the time zones are challenging, is a testament to the respect in the world for Interfaith Harmony in general and World Interfaith Harmony Week in particular. The world needs this work.
