At the center of bhakti yoga lies the singing of kirtans, like "musical mantras." Simple, vegetative, rhythmical. They are not prayers asking for anything. They are rather reveling in the presence of the Divine than the infinity of names. Today Krishna Das and Deva Premal have brought these kirtans to Western seekers.
