Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, observed by Muslims worldwide as a sacred time of fasting, prayer, reflection, and community, and iftar is the evening meal that breaks the daily fast at sunset. This GW community interfaith iftar is hosted by the Division of Student Affairs and the Center for Interfaith & Spiritual Life in partnership with the Muslim Students’ Association, Muslim Voice, the Interfaith Dialogue Society, the Interfaith Student Advisory Board.
