We welcome four panelists:

Ibrahim Abdul-Matin is the author of Green Deen: What Islam Teaches About Protecting the Planet. He is the co-founder of Green Squash Consulting, a management consulting firm based in New York that works with people, organizations, companies, coalitions and governments committed to equity and justice.

Rev. Traci Blackmon is the Associate General Minister of Justice & Local Church Ministries for the United Church of Christ. She also recently served as Senior Pastor of Christ the King United Church of Christ in Florissant, MO.

Dr. J. T. Snipes, Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership and Co-director of the College Student Personnel Administration at Southern IL University Edwardsville. Dr. Snipes recently completed an award winning dissertation that explores the narratives of secular African American Students in college, titled: “Ain’t I Black Too: Counterstories of Black Atheists in College.”

Rev. Dr. Zandra Wagoner is the Interfaith Chaplain at the University of La Verne. Dr. Wagoner’s work engages empowering Latinx and African American Students in interfaith work.

The panel will be moderated by Micah Sandman ’23 and Dr. Priscilla Dowden-White, Assoc. Professor of History at UMSL and practicum student with the WashU Office for Religious, Spiritual & Ethical Life through Eden Seminary.
