About this event
As variants and misinformation continue to spread, faith leaders are critical to community sustainability and guidance, especially among Black and Latinx populations. The Georgia Community Engagement Alliance (CEAL) Interfaith Alliance to Fight COVID is back to discuss the fears, facts, and future of COVID-19. Join us for some real talk about how the Word (our religion) and the words (misinformation) continue to affect us as we journey through the new year in the midst of a three-year pandemic.
Panel Topics Include:
- The role and actions of faith leaders throughout the pandemic
- Building trust among congregations
- How to continue the work in light of the Omicron variant
- The importance of communicating the correct information about the virus
- Faith in the middle of the pandemic & moving forward
