We are hosting Rabbi Andrea Cohen-Keiner for conversation on the Jewish faith on Sunday, February 23 after coffee hour in the Whiteman Room. Rabbi Andrea has always been interested in comparative religion and interfaith work. After the synagogue shootings in Pittsburgh, she decided to be more intentional about making relationships with Christian people of faith in her own town. In her talk, What Do Jews Believe, Andrea describes some of the commonalities and some of the flash points between Judaism and Christianity - historically and theologically - and then opens it up for discussion. Rabbi Andrea is the spiritual leader at Temple Israel.
